image A trade conference and trade fair recently held in Tehran has helped Iranian and Iraqi businessmen to sign contracts totaling $730 million.

Iranian and Iraqi investors have struck various deals in oil, construction, foodstuffs, home appliances, engineering, industrial and banking sectors since Sept. 5.

The first gathering to discuss the economic potentialities of the neighboring countries Iran and Iraq, was held in Tehran from Sept. 5 to Sept. 8.

The Iraqi businessmen attending the gathering toured over 30 factories in various Iranian cities such as Asallouyeh, Isfahan, Mashad and Tehran to get an insight into Iran's industrial potential.
